What is the German test for immigrants?
- The DTZ is an internationally recognized, official language exam that tests your German language skills at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- The content, requirements and procedure of the examination are standardized throughout Germany and uniform across the country. This means that all examination candidates have the same opportunities and conditions regardless of where they live.
- The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) developed the exam together with various educational institutions. The certificate improves your chances on the job market and is recognized by authorities and employers.
